In order for robotic welding to give successful results, intermediate products must also meet a certain standard. At this point, cutting and bending tolerances of thin materials that require precise fixturing become important. INTECRO offers its customers a turnkey total solution in robotic welding and pre-welding processes, thanks to Precision Robot Technology, which performs laser cutting processes in CAD-CAM controlled and 3D processing in robotic pre-welding intermediate products.
CAD-CAM 3D robotic-assisted laser cutting technology that works without programming was developed and presented to the industry by INTECRO the first time in Turkey. All cutting works are carried out in a single flexible manufacturing cell by fixing 36 different workpieces with more than 24 quick-connect fixture systems.
In the laser cutting process, the laser beam must have a precise trajectory tracking tolerance. Trajectory sensitivity and PTP sensitivity are different. It mentions the PTP sensitivity in the catalog values of the robots. In addition, CAD-CAM supported programming interfaces should be used instead of the point teaching method in the creation of robot patterns.
